After relocating to Southampton and maturing a bit he began to take music seriously, taking lessons at the popular ‘Drum Garden‘ and playing with local bands in the quest for more girls. Thinking it would help, he began to dabble a bit in piano and later the guitar but it’s unlikely he’ll be winning any awards for these efforts any time soon.

Chris Pinkton – Born and raised in Kent, Ohio where nothing of real interest has happened since the U.S. National Gaurd shot a bunch of hippies posing as “college students” back in the Vietnam days.
Although he got his first instrument of his own, a trumpet, around the age of ten, he always loved sitting with his great-grand parents listening to them play old gospel, country, and bluegrass music on their old acoustic guitars, dobrohs, and banjos.
He picked up his first bass at the age of sixteen after trying out his friend’s six-string and realising that his fingers didn’t like the whole “chord” thing.
Chris’ first live performences were with a hardcore band call “Sleepless Days Escape” and he was quickly addicted to the sensation. Since then he has played with acoustic, hip-hip, punk, and even porno-funk groups.
At the beginning of 2013 Chris parted with JOS to move back to New York.
