Offer Subject To Status: Milico Studio Sessions with Darren…
2017 saw me go back into the recording studio. Like most artists I’ve tended to record with limited budgets and limited time producing mixed results. But this time it would be different. This time I took a different approach and the approach was “How would I make an album if I was signed to a label?”.
For me the album is the ultimate statement for a singer songwriter. Any half decent songwriter can fluke one or two good songs, but you can’t fluke an album. So I went into 2017 with the intention of making the ultimate statement of producing a 14trk Rock N Roll on vinyl.
So I contacted Miloco Studios who kindly put me intouch with Darren Jones, a super talented Sound Engineer who had recently worked with Skepta. We met up to check the chemistry was right and then I demoed the tracks so Darren got an idea as what to expect. The sessions were broken into three Drums, Guitar & Bass, Vocals.
